Got the flame showing, in linear.  With no other lights in the scene.  But the settings are nuts.

Sensitivity - 6400

Exposure - 1/2

Fstop - 1

And the gain on the emitter is cranked up to over 1000.  I did adjust the black body temperature down to about 1800 ish too.
