As the winner of the last Bryce Challenge - again,

Grafikeer

has thrown down the gauntlet.

Ode To Spring

Using any version of Bryce, create your vision of Spring. It can be a scene reminiscent of the area you live in, a meadow of wildflowers in bloom, a walk in the woods, a plot of land in bloom in the middle of the city...anything that suggests Spring to you. (Any planet will do. It doesn't have to be Earth.)

Imports are allowed, although try to use Bryce to create as much as possible (houses, bridges, a flowerpot etc.) Postwork is also acceptable in moderation. This is after all, a Bryce challenge!

The Challenge is now running and the deadline for entries will be the **12 noon UK time, 31st May.** Good luck to you all.

Does it have to be spring on earth?

You should never doubt what no one is even sure about.

No...it could be anywhere...your interpretation of Spring!

grafikeer ( ) posted Thu, 07 April 2011 at 6:38 PM

Can we add that to the contest info O Supreme Being Bryster?

I can't seem upload my image for this challenge - the Current Challenge link doesn't do anything and the Entry Page link goes to the last challenge. Could someone tell me what's up? Thanks!

Thanks - I'm on the road (leaving Monday) for next couple of weeks and at the mercy of hotel Wi-Fi. Hoped to get this up from my home DSL, but not that big a deal!.

I'll give it a shot but we only have 2 seasons in Seattle: winter & summer :-)

Darn!  I forgot to put the acknowledgments in with my description.

Perhaps I can say it here?

[ Mountain and Snowy mountain texture by Agent Smith, I used his sky too, otherwise just some free images of snowdrops on billboards, and a tiny bit of postwork for mistyness.]
