analog..as for the rest..i keep the laptop on a fan platform..whatever it is called..and all that on a glass table. I think this time..with temp's up to 40 deg C..ie..above 100 F.. it adds to it..even though I have the room fan or the AC on... 

still using the desktop till it goes back to my friend's tmrow.. ah..the releif..it's scary using someone else's computer.
