She asks a valid question.  I wonder if you put the pc into hybernate right in the middle of a render and resume it, if Bryce will crash or continue.

The reason this got me thinking is, you can get a small UPS that attaches to your PC and can be configured to automatically shutdown a pc in the event of power loss.  

So for example if she was rendering over night and the power went out, her UPS could put her PC into hybirnate.

I'll have to do some tests.
