@ Cage:
A catsuit would be fairly easy for anyone, really. SImply extract the polygons that make up the existing Antonia mesh, add some edges and make some minor topological adjustments while preserving the part groups, and then extrude it out slightly, evenly on all axes.
Well, in theory. I've never tried it. ;-)
As for conforming - beats me. I barely use Poser at all anymore (although I've been using it since 2000 off and on) and know very little about how to do that properly. I do know that with a mesh of the same proportions, topology and part names, you can load the skeleton from the original figure into it through the Setup Room and do it that way, and it will even maintain working morph targets if the vertex count hasn't changed. But I'm sure that's less than ideal.
I was just planning on making some models and then let anyone who wanted to Poserize them have at it. I don't know the details of all that stuff and don't really have the time to learn.
@ Les:
You would have to say high heels, wouldn't you? ;-)
Last time I tried that it was a disaster because first you have to export out the foot in the posed position for the modeling, also with the toes morphed to fit (not spread out, that is to say), and then model, symmetrize, import and then parent to the posed foot...
Well I guess it's not that bad, but last time I tried it just aggravated me. It was a long time ago though. I'll see what I can do about that.
@ English Bob:
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll have to get the new version to see what the new part names are. As I said though, all I can really do for Poser is model, and have no idea how to do proper conforming clothes. I use Softimage and Maya at work and Softimage and Modo at home, and don't get much time to mess with Poser, much as I'd like to learn its finer points. Maybe one day.
