:blink: Now I'm even more confused than normal (no pun intended). markschum is suggesting that the normals in the prop don't do anything in Poser, which is what I have heard many people say, and yet PhilC, a very  knowledgeable person, is suggesting I do things with the normals!

So which is it? Does Poser ignore the vn lines, or not?

Phil, "Or take the OBJ into UVMapper and use its smooth tool." by "smooth tool", do you mean the "Fix Seams" option? If so I tried that, it did not help. What does "Fix Seams" actually do anyway? Markschum's suggestion of setting the crease angle above 90° worked, I'm happy enough with that solution.

Nruddock's suggestion sounds like it must work, but as there are quite a few other morphs for the prop, it would involve redoing those other morphs.
