Actually Reality has plenty to do with it. I'm not claiming that I had any part in developing that feature, that is completely a feature of Lux. But Reality gives Studio users access to that feature, which would be completely unavailable otherwise. As wonderful as Lux is, without an exporter it has no way of getting the data because it does not read Studio scenes or Maya scenes or Blender scenes. The role of the exporters is crucial but nobody is claiming that the exporter has any involvement with the features of Lux. It is true, though, that before Reality was released, the ability to change light brightness and color, plus the exposure and tonal response, while rendering, was not available at all to Studio users. I hope this clarifies the role of the program and the intentions of the author. Best.
