In some of the orginal reference material many photographers have stood on nearby roofs and buildings, using lens in the 300-500mm range. This shooting technique can sometimes cause foreshortening on foreground items, such as the the longer walls at the front corner.
As many 3D apps can't duplicate this effect, some of the front walls have been shortened instead. Plus the compound walls that are not visible in the photos have been removed.
