This is a RTFM Issue. Just installing a figure doesn't mean it's automatically loaded when you start the program. You need to load figures from the library. I suggest investing some time reading at LEAST the quickstart guide that comes with Poser 8.

Is there a comicbook version available?  How about a Cliff note version?
