Okay.  I got the sense, from your earlier statement, that you advocated the surpression of one of the existing mappings.  That seems like a pretty crummy solution to the purported problem.

This issue of multiple mappings was raised, BTW, 'round about the time Antonia 1.0 was released.  At that time, odf offered his thoughts on the matter.  Check it out, if you haven't already.  There are some interesting posts.

If we're concerned about accessibility for the unwashed masses ()  who don't yet love and understand Antonia, prob'ly we should be trying to improve the available information and instructions.  What is the state of the Antonia wiki page?  Is it such that we could route puzzled newcomers there?  If not, surely rectifying that does more good than raising a hubbub.

I'm afraid Antonia may be off-putting to the 'cookie-cutter' crowd (I call 'em 'goo goo dolls', on account of a silly fan-girlish band review of yore, and 'cause I'm a twerp, sometimes) no matter what steps we, as the Antonia community, could try to take.  The joint setup which makes Antonia so wonderful to use also makes the figure more complicated than others.  Building working clothing is difficult.  The figure pushes the boundaries and is thus inherently complicated.

Just sayin', is all.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
