Neither of these can be used to combine geometry. The Grouping Tool only operates on the currently-selected actor.
One of the options will create a new prop which is composed only of polygons in the currently active group. The other will spawn a new prop for each group on the current actor. Danged if I can remember what either is called, without checking Poser, though.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking. He apologizes for this. He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.
Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Spawn Prop is used to break an existing prop up into it's constituant groups. You can also create new groups from an existing prop and then use Spawn Props to spawn a prop of the new grouping.
so, it doesn't work on figures?
what about P8?
haven't tried it out yet, but i read somewhere it can do morphs across body parts?
thanks.

Can you even do such a thing?
I'm looking to turn some bracelet-like primitives into a single prop, so I can then turn it into a figure to fit onto V4 using the "repleace body part with prop" function.
Any help in this regard would be appreciated.
The strong do as they can while the weak do as they must.
