I find it amazing that during the Renaissance(sp?), which occurred during one of the darkest times in human history (in terms of religious persecution/political persecution etc), the thick minded individuals that ran things were at least able to discern the difference between art and life. The majority of the artwork of the time contained nudity, of men and women and children - yet no one mistook it for any form of pornography. In these enlightened times, however, we are more and more often finding the human body, no matter the age, to be a thing of disgrace rather than beauty. Oh to have been born hundreds of years ago! sigh
