Subject: Tucking in Shirts?

Ragtopjohnny ( ) posted Tue, 31 May 2011 at 6:57 AM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 9:46 AM

New question -- when making figures, I notice that the shirts don't tuck in like they should in the real world. For example, you say, use Simon G2, I'm using all G2 stuff, conform them, but the shirt is untucked from Dress Pants. I don't understand why that is happening. They appear over the belt, etc.

Anyone have any way of tucking in clothes so my people don't dress like slobs? LOL -- Thanks! :)

Morph tool is your friend. :) I've used it mostly for dynamic clothes. I use the morph tool and push the clothing in under the waist of the pants, skirts etc and make a morph from it. I gather it works similar with conforming clothes.

The morph tool is excellent when clothing needs to be adjusted a bit. You can also use magnets, but that's not my strong suit.

As the hip area is not round , nor oval, it is difficult to do with a magnet.
But : It is less work with a magnet.
And the morph brush needs some getting used to.

if you've got James (P6 figures) he's got a shirt that's tucked in. (not that the magnet practice isn't a good thing!) you might also check the P4 Casuals; they're fully dressed for you, & great as background or crowd figures.

Check for any existing morphs, some clothing has them.

Thanks jancory - I do have James -- I'll have to try him for a shirt that's tucked in I think. Been a pester for doing that -- and I'll remember that too Mark -- thanks!
