Many thanks renecyberdoc for starting a DS4 discussion here.

I'm getting a clearer picture now what's going on. The Daz forum is getting confusing with 50++ pages to slog through. And I still don't understand why the DS4 discussions are in their "Commons" forum instead of their "Daz Studio" forum. All very confusing.

I have yet to load DS4 on my machine. I'm waiting for the 64bit version to be released. I think why most users don't notice much change in reander speed between DS3 and DS4 is because DS4 is currently only 32bit which limits the ram usage during rendering. Anyway we'll all have to wait for the 64bit version to test out that theory.
