Can you put the Whats New Link back in the Marketplace tabs at the top.

I miss you taking that away and now how have to hunt for it clicking on extra links now to get to it.

What was the reason for taking it away.....?

We did this to consolidate the 2 most visited pages in the MarketPlace, and
added the Featured Items area as a way to highlight higher quality items
that get "lost in the shuffle" too quickly due to the high volume of
submissions we receive.

Another reason for doing this is that we've got some really cool things in
the works for Renderosity.  I hear that the Tech guys are working on some other really cool features, so streamlining the MarketPlace as such is a way to advance into all the new technology that the IT guys are cooking up.:)

You can always bookmark the What's New link (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?TopID=&WhatsNew=Y)

or the new page that has each of the most popular sections (http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php

Each of those sections are sorted by newest first, so the what's new section
is still showing you the 12 newest products.  To the right of each section
you will see a "View All".  If you're wanting to see all of What's New,
simply click on the "View All New" and you'll be at the page you're familiar
with.

If you have any questions, I'm happy to assist.

Thank you

Stacey

Online Now!

Thanks for thinking about us, but

If it Ain't Broke DON'T fix it.

I know how tech heads think. They love adding cool new stuff, but some of us have old machines that just can't keep up.

Daz let it's tech guys redo their site and it is a mess!

I really liked the Whats New link where it was. The only cool things I need are good products, low prices and lots of sales/coupons etc. If you NEVER changed another thing many of us would be happy as long as we can shop easily and save.

It now takes me one more click to navigate, I happen to be a big fan of easy quick acess, not a click through things I have no interest in to get to what I want.

I am actually annoyed if I get featured items BEFOR the what is new.. frankly it could be featured coated in gold and make me tea all at once and it is still not what I am interested in.. no matter how featured it is if I have not bought it yet and it is not on my wishlist.. chances are I have absolutely no interest in it. none.. whatsoever... what does interest me is what is new...

So if that could at least be moved above the featured stuff I would not have to browse like this: Enter site, click scroll scroll click again. I much more prefered enter site, click, BAM I am where I want to be. I am not sure why all the sites these days want to have all these features that serve no real purpose, lag the sites down and give the user nothing besides carpal tunnel... When they could be just user friendly.

Removing the what's new link from the marketplace tab is a dumb idea

You'd want to make it easier to buy products, not more difficult, and that is what you have done

Hi all,

In the TOP navigation menu under "Marketplace" you can pick from that dropdown the section in the Marketplace you want to get to first. There is a "What's New", "What's Hot", 'Featured", etc.

There's a whole site redesign project in the works that will address many of the concerns listed here.  We'll be looking for beta testers on that soon.  We're just trying to work out kinks in some of the new features until that is available.

We value your feedback and want you participating in this journey with us to make Rendo better and better:)

Thank you
Stacey
