If so I say go for it. I made the jump from DAZ Studio to Poser Debut and have been really happy with the decision. It even has video tutorials built-in to help you quickly learn the different interface.
One observation I made really early on is that my scenes save SO much faster than they did in DS... I only wish there was a way to open DS scenes in Poser instead of having to recreate them from scratch (thanks for using proprietary file formats DAZ 
).
