The 64-bit version does not permit the embedded library, because the 64-bit Flash interpreter doesn't exist. (yet)
If you use the 32-bit PP2010, then you have the choice.
Updating Flash to get the external working is pointless - the external version isn't Flash, it's AIR.
Update AIR to get the embedded working is pointless - the embedded version is Flash, not AIR.
Now that we've got that out of the way, you can focus on things that might actually have a chance to work.
When you first ran PP2010, and Windows demanded to know whether or not to let Poser use the Internet, did you say yes or no?
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
