Yesssssss
As a very recent convert, I must agree wholeheartedly. I don't know why we've allowed the myth that the cloth room is difficult to propagate for so long. It's WAY, WAY easier than trying to add morphs to conforming clothing.
To be sure, I'm having some trouble with complex, layered pieces (shirt tucked into pants and under jacket, for example). But even my problematic simulations look better than the conformed version. The thing that made it really work for me was the advice to go over some of the funky looking folds with the morphing brush set on smooth.
I seriously think we need to start a Poser Dynamic Cloth Club, or something, to promote the concept of dynamic cloth and its development and usage. I for one would love to get my head around the finer points of developing clothing items for the cloth room - I think this is a completely-missed technology with infinite promise, and if it really took off as it should, conforming cloth would go the way of the rumble seat.
Bad idea? :woot:
Soorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread - couldn't help myself!
