I don't think there is any question that Tofusan's renderer is original.  I purchased and returned Reality a few months ago (I felt that the problems I encountered were due to Lux, not Reality) .  Tofusan's renderer is a lot easier to use, and has a very different UI. 

His installation is simple, -- unzip and put the .dll file in the DS plugins directory.

To use, just make the "LuxRender" tab visible in DS.

To render, just press "Setup All Materials and Lights" button, then press "Render".
