Another option would be to save each object's motion path into the library using the create path option then saving it after the object is animated. save your objects and when you're ready for final load your paths and then situate them where you want and load and lock your objects back to them and reset the timeline the way you want.

That sounds complicated :) I'll give it a try once this animation is done.

I'making several objects that will be animated. They are going to be near eachother in the final animation.
Is it possible to save each object with the animation so I can put them together later?
It's not easy to animate every object in the same scene.
