And all proverbs end in a great fiasco when they reach a masochist, sadist, psychopat or politician.
What is so hard to understand? For example, I don't like getting punched in the nose, so I make it a principle not to punch others in the nose as well. I don't like people spitting on me, so I make it a point not to spit on others! It's really fairly simple, I believe.
I have been occassionally accused of bing obnoxious, but that is usally a result of my being overly enthusiastic and passionte about something, rather than any premeditated ill-intent! When I'm called out on such occassions, I make it a point to appologise.
