You mean: take a snapshot of the screen? Windows 7 does that natively. Hold down the shift key and press Prt Scr (over by the numeric keypad).
Then, in Paint, simply paste.

A nice freebie app for doing automated, sequential, frame grabs (or partial areas of the screen) is 'WINK'. It also alows you to render out the sequence of frames grabbed as an animated shockwave file. (so it allows you to save and render a movie of the stuff going-on on your screen)

ever since win95 u can just hit the prt/scr (print screen ) to capture the whole screen
or Alt+PrtScr(prrint screen to capture any open window No matter what size it is...
But since windows vista theres a program call SNIPPING TOOL.. .i dont know if it made it up to windows 7 ... do a search on you pc for it ....
it'll let i draw a marqee any size u like on screen ande save
It did - just found it! That's rather slick - I like that. No extra programmes to install... functionality is all already there. Thanks for that.

Anybody know about a screen saver program? One where you can download/save the whole screen or a selected section. I have a PC with Windows 7
