IIRC DS4 is coming in 4 versions, the free basic version (hasn't been released yet), standard version for $50 (it's free till end of July), advanced version (no price yet but $100 would be low level guess), and a Pro version (sky's the limit for the price on this one).

Despite being a DS user since 1.3 and getting DS3A the day it was released ( I was a public beta tester and wanted the 64 bit & shader mixer), I wont be touching DS4 with a ten foot pole, project X & the ds4 beta's were enough to tell me that it's a pile of garbage, with and interface designed by an idiot for kids to use.
