Okay, I said I was finished and I am finished my rant. Now it is time for me to reflect on what I have learned.
Perhaps I was wrong to try to mold the site to how I want it to go. I realize now that if we were all sitting in a giant room primarily enclosing art students and art masters there would probably circles of people listening and talking about Poser, Bryce, Photography, Terragen, Vue, etc... Within those circles of interest may or may not be smaller groups. No matter the size there is sharing of their art and experiences. When a student holds up their latest work all in the circle applaud and say words of encouragement or just clap and say "yayy!" THIS IS COMMUNITY OF LIKE INTERESTED PEOPLE ENCOURAGING EACH OTHER.
Another big room has the same type arrangement but students have the ability to grade the other images on their level of appeal and use of the chosen medium. Here they will put the best products on the wall for all to admire. This is would qualify more a school and gallery.
In conclusion both are good and have their place. Renderosity needs to decide which it wants to be. It is difficult to be both. If it is to be a community that is great, fantastic actually. If it wants to put up displays of the best in catagories that is great also but it can't be done based on amount of applause from a community based circle.
Perhaps I was wrong to wish it one way and not the other. Forgive me friends here in the forum. You are my community and some applauded when I spoke and some were polite not to. I consider you all friends.
