Quote - > Quote - I can peruse my own gallery and notice an obvious trend.  Male figures seldom get more than about 50 views.  Female figures usually get about 80 views.  Any image with a "nudity" tag gets more than 200 views.  That's just the reality around here.

Of course. The default settings for the gallery options are set to not show thumbnails for images tagged with "nudity". Most users probably do not change that (i only discovered by chance, that this can be changed at all). So they have to click on it to see what is actually behind it.

This is the main reason I end up clicking on a bunch of nude images. I don't mind nudity, so I don't try to avoid them. I can tell from the thumbnails of most images that I won't like them (shockingly bad lighting, for example). But if it's the default thumb, I won't know until I click.

So I end up clicking on way more nudes than non-nudes.

I've pretty much stopped doing that lately on the grounds that those who can't be bothered to devise a custom thumbnail probably aren't uploading anything I'd care to see. Of course, I'm totally sick of seeing a row of almost identical thumbnails of the same woman's (with barely noticeable morphed changes) blank stare. So I've stopped clicking on those too.

Not really looking at much in the gallery that isn't uploaded by one of my favourite artists these days.
