Okay, I did the Lion installation this morning and open Poser as my first program...  It was painfully slow at first.  It was enough that I fretted about restoring my backup and doing the upgrade later.  When i returned, I tried again and it was more than fine.  The library menu clearly has a minor issue or two but I can live with it.  I should confess that I use an aditional third party library tool along with Poser 8's library.  Carrara Pro was stunning.... Bryce was troublesome and wouldn't quit properly but nothing I can't live with.  Groboto was fine and I was too scared to try Hexagon.  The upshot is that I am sticking with Lion.
