I'm not really happy with the way this venture is progressing. I'm about to shoot 3DS, It's eaten this mesh 3 times. After all the fighting, I try it on Posette and I don't really like the look. I here for sugestions. I don't like the knees. What do Y'all think? Go with it like this or should I rework the knees? Maybe put on some knee caps like the Taarna boots have?

Hoo boy, those look real neat nerd. I think I agree with you about the knees though, the mesh looks a little distorted there. But I must say, that I love the idea and can't wait to see the end result. Paul

Slap some armor plates or straps over the knees and you will have the coolest boots on the planet! Great work, once again Nerd! -Trav

These are looking good...I like the solid feet with the mesh coming out of them...keeps with the style of the rest of your armor. For the same reason, I agree with Trav on the knees...they'll look great and get you around the problems you're having at the same time. Fox

First thing I thought of was straps and buckles... must be that great minds thing working. Maybe only make the thigh parts mesh? Great job, nonetheless. --ratta

Don't stop now. You are on a rool. It is coming out great. Maybe a couple of skulls for knee caps. Great work man!!!

Firstyou may want to try to chainize my boots Try the "Posable Thigh Boots" the mesh is less dense in teh knees which should give a better result. (Open them in poser, use magnets and scaling to get them to the shape you may want and then export them, or I can mail you the meshes) What's the trick? if I knew how maybe I could come up with an idea. Also I could "chainize" a few things of my own. Hmmm a chainmail catsuit... "Phil" Hokusai

Nerd I have just recently discovered your impractical line and WOW! I love all of them! Making something for Luna's outstanding dress now. I love the boots and they will be perfect for my Fae/Spirit Army, thank you for making and for sharing. Hokusai, I am going to try your boots, I am glad you mentioned them. I have such trouble with the ones that are with Poser. They don't conform for me, something is always sticking out somewhere! Most frustrating!

LilWolff: Here is the trick: -Hide the toes and foot of the figure, and taper the shins until nothing sticks out. Thats the trick ;) -Trav

Can't wait to try these on my Possettes Nerd!!! They already look awsome, and the knees can be worked around easily, (although I don't think they look too bad now). Please post them soon?? Thank you.... Radart:)
