Thanks HD. So that's not it.
At the moment I can't think of what else to look at. Nothing I'm familiar with fits the facts:
We can load and see one of the icons directly in a Browser. It's not firewalled, the Poser server has the right port open, and we can grab the icon data.
We can NOT load and see the same icon (or any other) from within the Flash app hosted in the same browser or a Poser embedded browser.
The same worked fine before the OS change.
I tentatively would guess that Apple explicitly did something to reject a network request from a Flash application. But that seems absurd.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
