Subject: What would cause my saved poses to be corrupt?

I don't know if this helps.  I found an oddity in poses I would save with V4 in Poser 7, and it took a while to track down what was going on.

If you go to, say,  the "Body" on V4++ and add any of those morphs (e.g. "Arms Down") and then create a pose, that pose appears to assume that you always have the "Arms Down" dial on the body morphs turned up to the exact position you previously set.

What this means is that if you now start with a blank V4++ character and add the pose you just saved you can get some pretty wierd reactions if you didn't remember to also turn up that "Arms Down" dial.

The result is that now I never use any of those "Arms Down" etc. in a character because the poses I save are then specific to that character and are no longer generic to V4.

Not sure if this applies to your situation.
