This is weird.
Some further explanation.
Adapting clothes to the morphed figure I made is very difficult, so what I do is, rather than save the morphed/magnetized clothes, I just save a new version of the figure wearing that conformed outfit. So I have several copies of the figure, each one wearing a different outfit.
And of course I have a copy of the figure wearing nothing.
If I apply the pose to the clothed figures, I get the corrupt pose with the morph targets that I didn't include. But when I apply the pose to the unclothed figure, it's fine. It works. I can pose the unclothed figure and change its morphs and whatnot to the extreme and when I apply the pose it changes back into its original shape like it's supposed to.
But when I apply the the same pose to one of the clothed figures, I get misshapen feet and hands and arms, etc. Could it be that the CR2's of those figures are corrupt?
I'm afraid I can't send any pose or geometry info on the figure as the character is co-owned by another entity and I don't have permission to release anything to the public.
Well, I'm in the process now of doing a complete backup of my runtime as well as other files. After that, I think I'll uninistall Poser Pro 2010 and Poser 8 and reinistall them. I still have Poser 7 and tried to bring it up to see if the problem showed up there but when I went to launch it I got a message saying that Windows couldn't launch Poser 7 because a .dll file was missing and that reinstalling the program would probably fix it. So I'll uninstall Poser 7, reinstall it, and then see if the problem shows up there too.
Any hints on doing a thorough uninstall?
