Quote - This is a classic case of product launch and support failure. When it first started up, it was a ghost town, and people aren't going to keep checking back week after week waiting for something to appear. Had it launched with even some basics, it would have gotten more attention. A few PM's to some key users before the announcement would have been an easy way to get that done.
And since it started, what's been done to draw attention to it? Not everyone who visits here does so daily, and few would sift back through things to find the announcement. A monthly recap of Wiki additions might have helped.
Mute questions, since it's done and gone.
Very good points. Something can't succeed unless it's promoted, and Wiki never really was.
"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
