No need to do this on database level. All you need is what you see on the page, and all that is on a page you see in code form when you open it for editing. I did not realize it was that simple until I tried it. You will not generally need to port the change log. The talk page is jut another page that can be transferred the same way.

The initial port to Wikipedia was simply copy the code on RRwiki and then paste in an empty Wikipedia page. If they are using Mediawiki, which is the industry default, the page will then show. Next thing to fix is the internal links. If there is an equivalent internal link in the new wiki, fix the reference to that. If there is no internal equivalent either change the text or make it an external link to the wiki you took the page from.

Making a page is even simpler. I spent more than an hour looking for a button 'make new page'. It isn't there. Simply type the address of the page you want to make. It it exists already, it opens. If it does not exist, you get a question if you want to make it.
