And this statement, while given with convincing conviction, is not only incorrect about being the only way to see through something, but also ignored the OP evidence stating the back of the clothing was all that could be seen. That means something was not transparent and only in the back. If a polygon is opaque if and only if turned away from the camera - there is only one way that happens and it isn't transparency.

Back-facing polygons are invisible, whether transparent or opaque, in preview. Well - until you get Poser 9 or Poser Pro 2012. That is now a configurable feature.


Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
