Besides, it's taking a damnable eternity for this initial rsync to shovel over 500GB of hard disk backup over wireless from my laptop to my shiny new home server, and my wife and I got done with our annual Labor Day Closet Clearance back on Saturday.

(it's a tradition with us, of sorts. Renderosity shoots itself in the administrative foot, and I clean out closets of accumulated-but-useless stuff. As a result, we all end up entertained).
