Yeah, of course. I'm aiming for 100 figures, humans, monsters etc. I'm not really counting the props, boats, pencils, motorcyle etc in that ammount.

Sure. This is buried back on the first page of the original thread.
My concept is called "Enter The Net" and is meant as visual metaphor of my whole experience of getting exposed to 3D art when I originally came online. Being one of those poor souls who just cannot draw well, 3D art opened me to a whole universe of self expression and for that, I am grateful
So, what we have here is the scene based I settled on with the first several figures included. The size is 5100 x 7020. Of course this forum only supports a fraction of that size so you're seeing a greatly reduced quality image each time I post. I will do the zoomed in cross sections which neelzonline featured in his thread a bit later.

WEll I find the 64 B version of Poser Pro to work a lot smoother.

At this point I'm adding them invididually. The last big render with something like 69 figures took around 8 hours.

I get 103 if I don't count the two angel fish in the water cooler.

It'd take a buff render farm to animate this for sure!

How many figures can Poser handle?
In an effort to produce something akin to the magnificent works of NeelzOnline, but sans the mutli software workflow, I'm attempting to place 100 poser figures into a single render.
The company line is that Poser is only limited by your computers resource and that may be true but I have noticed a few oddities once you set up so many figures. Some of it may be related to cross talk but some of the issues seem to come from out of nowhere.
For instance POser won't remember applied morphs when you save such a large scene.
In any case, if you'd like to follow my project thread to see how it progresses and the problems I run into and how I solved them. The thread is here.

My goal is to be able to render 100 figures before resorting to Photoshop to fix pokethrough and things of that nature. Things like my PC's specs are included in the main thread as well as at least weekly progress updates until I hit my mark.
