I installed Poser 8 in a location of my own choosing, and instruct the daz installers to install in a location which I specify.  Don't have installation problems such as yours.  

 

(However, I did get a hiccough when the silly executables look for files I don't have, such as the Genesis figure, but that's not your case.)
