For example, while demonstrating the value of a proper HDR image in the VSS discussion thread just moments ago, I posted this image.

It is a proper water shader, proper plastic, and my HDR environment sphere with a proper HDR image. It's not art, but could you make it into art with some more props and figures?

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
