Grosz's Ecce Homo is one of my favorite comic books. :laugh: He is rather intense, not to say grotesque, at times, but in spite of his often grim subject matter his work is inventive and delightful. Ditto for some of Beckmann.
Dang, I wish I had enough room in this place to diddle around with painting again. I love computer graphics, but in many ways no program can compare to just working with paint. Sigh.
Edit: Aha. Punctuation trouble. If the comma goes there, then it should go there, too. But then the sentence reads like something from the Victorian era, so best to drop both of them.
