Never heard of a Python script that does that.

How about this, a pose file to to hide all the body parts from the menu and mouse selection, except Body? I don't think you really need to select individual body parts in a conformer as a rule. With cursor selection they are just a nucence, because you tend to select the conformer when you are trying to select the character.

Give me a few hours, and I'll see what I can come up with.
