Quote - I beta tested PP2012 under SL and now run production PP2012 on two different machines

one is on a Mac Book Pro with 4 gigs of ram where 100 percent of my content (runtimes) is on a 2 gig protable drive via 1394.(I travel a lot on business and take Poser with me almost everywhere)

The other is my Mac Pro where 100 percent of my content or runtimes is on a NAS system (which is a shared volume over bonded gig ethernet not 1394 or USB)

the Poser app is in the apps folder.

I tested both in 32 bit mode and 64 bit mode and nothing like the problems you are having. Something is not right. Have you checked your activity monitor when running poser or rendering to see if something else is grabbing cpu cycles, threads or ram?

Which Library are you running? are you rendering as a separate process and how many threads? Is the open GL preview shading on or off?

I agree, something can not be right here.

I have to check all you have mentioned and get back to you.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to help me out.
