In checking out the texture images for just one of my characters (M4)... I was ASTOUNDED byt the number of texture images and bump images associated with him....  I am in the process of reducing the images.... and as a test I am also converting them to JPEGs to see if that helps.... and will see how  the finished texture appears..

As it has always been... in the past, as it is today....  This problem I had now with the good info from all you folks, I have serendipitously learned other things about textures that I have needed and wanted to know....
