I have tried and tried to find the issue with various scripts (open loop), and it seems to occur if I accidently run a script that needs to be recompiled and it throws up the error message about magic numbers. But the window can be dismissed when the error message shows up. It jumps up and can't be dismissed for the next script run. That is what appears to be happening, but still messing around. But I felt I owed a prgress report to those that chimed in.
