I agree. Poor Ohki: you really have your work cut out for you! Aren't you glad you're making this a commercial venture? You do know we're behind you 120%! Keep the faith: you've got some very excited people waiting for the release of this product!!

LOL thank you Robyn <3

I'm trying to make morphs for her eyes. I managed a cornea bulge, but now I'm at a loss: to reach Iris and Pupils, I have to hide the Cornea polygons; I researched a lot to learn how to do that in ZBrush but it resulted in a morph that didn't change anything in Poser, and if I use Cinema4d with the TrueSymmetry plugin Poser tells me the result has a wrong number of polygons. Sigh I'll move on to another set of morphs for now, I guess.

Hmmmm just brought it up in Blender. Seems there are polygroups apart from the main lEye/rEye but they haven't been named anything. The attached, that is.

Eh? Those look like the Iris and Pupil groups to me. See the black circle in the center? That's what I made larger in ZBrush and made no difference when imported into Poser...

Will try again some other time, right now I'm going through posts to actually make a /list/ of the requests I had. I think I lost one over at RDNA, can't remember in which thread it was...

I'm thinking (could be wrong) that's because there is no corresponding poygroup assigned to it in Poser. When i did a polygroup select in Blender, the whole eye was selected except for this bit. I know for morph objects to work, a poly-group name has to be the same for the morph object as for the target geometry. Just thinking that might be the cause.

That's odd... I don't use Blender but here's what I got:

-In Zbrush, only body parts are recognized. When I had Zbrush hide the eye body parts, the entire eyes were hidden.

-In Cinema4d, I can select the polygons of groups, both material and body part groups. Selecting the body part groups for the eyes selected the entire eyes (I did check by hiding the selected polys), selecting the materials was hiding each material correctly.

Yes, it does the same for me too - the poly-group selector selects the entire eye - but when I click on part of the eye mesh and  hit L (which selects all related polygons) it leaves out those polys in the piccie above.

The orange polys are the ones that were selected when I clicked on one of them and pressed [L]. The faint black ones belong to the above mesh.

"(which selects all related polygons)"

Maybe "related" means they have to be connected to the other polys by vertices? I'm not sure if the irises and pupils are actually "glued" to the rest of the eyes...

That must be it. I'm wondering if that accounts for why your morphs don't appear to apply to the mesh? Dunno - just grasping at straws... 😄

If that's so, it doesn't explain why the morphs didn't apply, no. I must have done something wrong along the way... In any case, I'm now working on some morphs for the arms xD

Can you translate the cornea or iris polygons so you can see the iris, then translate them back when you're done shaping?

===========================sigline======================================================

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Quote - Can you translate the cornea or iris polygons so you can see the iris, then translate them back when you're done shaping?

In ZBrush, I have no idea how to do that making sure the cornea polygons would return to their exact same place later...

In C4d, that would be pretty much the same as hiding regularly, only in a harder way. I still get wrong number of vertices because of the TrueSymmetry plugin, so it's moot, I guess I just can't make symmetrical morphs in C4d.

Well, its really a good job and much needed, a standardized set of morphs will go a long way toward ease of support.

I hope this doesn't insult you, but I was looking at the pic a page or two back where you have her sitting down with some of the morphs dialed in and you might want to have Phantom take a look at it, as it looks like the thigh on one side wasn't playing nice with the morphs and the pose.  On the side where she has her arm raised to her head, the bulge on her thigh looks funny to me.  Granted, I'm a lot more point and click than most people around here are, so I could be wrong and it could just be camera angle. But I figured I should say something just in case I wasn't wrong.

Afrodite-Ohki ( ) posted Sun, 16 October 2011 at 11:31 PM

I actually noticed that... And took a good look. The way the muscles get "pumped" on an athletic body (which is what you see mostly there) along with the bend makes that... to fix it, I'd need a joint-controlled morph specifically for that body shape and that leg pose. That would become quite the nightmare for cloth creators, so I decided to just let that one slip |:

I came up with a very basic Pupil morph just for dilating.  The only problem I ran into is that the contouring of the iris part of the eyes is not circular.  Makes it a longer process to morph the eyes. :)

"Antonia Unleashed"? (not all that original either)

"Make Antonia Yours"? (is that a name of a product or a statement?)

"Antonia's Beauty Boutique"? (ummmmm huh?)

"Antonia Gifted" (reaching, here, now, aren't we?)

Maybe someone else?

Names are really tough.  There isn't much that hasn't been used in one form or another.

Antonia Ultimate?

Antonia Enhanced?

Antonia Plus?

Antonia Unlimited Potential?

Choices for Antonia?

meh, think I better leave this to the more imaginative. :)

Antonia Versatila or Antonia Morphing Polygon ary my suggestions.

From the previous postings, I like "Choices for Antonia" best.

Antonia +-  or Antonia Superstar       ;)

or... Morphonia but it would be CDI copypasta.

Suggestions for the name of the pack, please? Antonia Morphs++ would be way too much copypasta.

OK!

Haven't been out of my crypt in ages and the damn bot here has refused to alert me of the proceeds on the original Antonia thread. Then I see this and had to jump over.

Antonia Pasta Mia is a wonderful name for these morphs. A morph for every flavor of Pasta on the world tastebud!

Love these. Making an already wonderful figure sooooo much better and versatile makes me grin like a stupid cat that just swallowed the forbidden canary!

When are these available already. You got me drooling all over my shirt and sweats and my couch and....damn even on my keyboard!

Have mercy...gimme...gimme....gimme!

Bluuuuuuush

Well, you arrived just the day I deemed them finished. Now I have to make them injectable though, which should take quite a while.

Errm. Thank you :D

"Antonia Extended" ?

The only morphs I could suggest (and maybe I'm late to do so 😊) might be an "outie" navel morph, pointy elbows, and dimpled knees.  Assuming there are enough vertices for something like knee dimples.

Not late... gladly I was procrastinating here with Poser loaded, trying to gather patience to begin with the PMD xD will try to make these then!

How many morphs do you have in all?

"Antonia Complete" comes to mind.

Afrodite-Ohki ( ) posted Tue, 18 October 2011 at 9:38 PM

Eh... numbers? Ok, will count them later xD

Alas, can't do pointy elbows... those only appear when the elbow is bent, and I'm avoiding joint-controlled morphs altogether. But your ideas gave me a few more ideas.

There aren't enough vertices to do any real torso definition morphs, are there?  Otherwise, I'd suggest some muscle definition morphs for that area.

"Antonia Deluxe Edition" (looking at my DVD shelf )

"Antonia Gold"

"Antonia: Aphrodite"

"Antonia Mega Pack"

"Antonia: Shapeshifter"

LMAO seems I'll have a harder time picking a suggested name than I would coming up with a name myself xD

There's a full torso version of the Athletic morph. Should I split that too? Maybe Athletic Back, Athletic Abs, Athletic Shoulders?...

Will there be any nibble lower lips left and right like The GIRL introduced to Poser with her version 1 release?

Would be nice to also have morphs like Posermatic breast shape and motion morphs for our girl.  :)

Afrodite-Ohki ( ) posted Tue, 18 October 2011 at 9:52 PM

I'm not making expressions or motion morphs, only shaping morphs... Posermatic breast shape? Images please?

Oh, you mean the Natural Gravity Morphs? I think that's quite achievable with the Breasts_Gravity I've already included. But perhaps I should add rotation morphs for the breasts too...

I was thinking thinking more in terms of defintion for the serratus muscles, the rectus abdominus, eternal/internal oblique muscles, transverse abdominus, all those muscles that refuse to show themselves effectively on my own personal torso.   (Assuming any of those are things.  Google may have misled me regarding naming. )

But I suppose if couldn't hurt to allow basic bulking and shaping morphs for the torso to be dialed in separately from the same for the arms and legs.  Or with differing intensities for torso, arms, and legs.

......uh....yeah!

When he was first offering his morphs I begged him for a year to include a set for V2. He finally did create them and posted them for sale at DAZ. Love them and use them a lot along with several sets for V4 and similar generation female figures.

Seems a great way to add a variety of breast motion and/or shape/size breast functions I think.

I apologize in advance for seeming ungrateful but everyone that has read my posts will attest I am just harmlessly clueless and anxious. When do you think some of these great morphs will be available?
