I am I missing something ?

On the export options for poser there is the .PSD export option which is great but however the PSD file is only creating a background layer what do you need to do to get poser to output the PSD multi layered which all its documentation claims it can do.

Click on Auxilary Render Data in Render Settings and you can select the layers you want to have in the PSD file

Poser suppose to do it ? I  have just exported a render as background until now

I didn't know If yes how??

I have Poser pro 2012 and i don't see (for now) how it can product an mutilayers output in PSD format

DazStudio 4 with 3d bridge export directly in Photoshop as layer ,change the scene export another layer on the top ,etc Not multi layers

Vue d'esprit can export multi files :the render,an alpha version,a deph map

It is what I said.

Go to Render Settings.

There is a drop down menu in the bottom left called Auxilary Render Data, click on the arrow next to it, Select the layers you want to have and then Render the scene

Now save as PSD file and open it in Photoshop and you will see all the layers

But maybe you want something different: If you want to save each full render to a different photoshop layer - you cannot do this as far as I know
