I doubt the Cr2 exporter exists as a standalone. I think you need to update your version of DS4 to the latest download.

V5 is not fully supported in PP2012, since although you can port loaded morphs and weight mapping essentially works, none of the other Genesis-specific features are supported by Poser, at least at this point.

The CR2 Exporter is included now in DS4 (even the free version) and your downloads should reflect a recent reset of the program.  (Mine does. YMMV)

Be sure to read the tutorial here

http://wiki.daz3d.com/doku.php/wiki/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/importing_exporting/tutorials/triax_figure_to_poser/start

before attempting export.   It will save some fustration.

How well does the face render with the HiRes Lana texture? Am I spouting a misconception, or does the smaller number of polygon's affect this?

Can we see some renders from Poser?

This is the Lana texture that comes with DS4 with the stock Genesis figure (I haven't yet sprung for V5).  Smoothing is on...

@WandW:

Have you increased the crease angle to 180? That may help the ears render more smoothly.
