Why not use both and be content? And G/V5 can be imported into poser, and yes, Daz will fix those issues otherwise why invest into innovating a new figure just to ailianate 75-90% of your consumer base? I mean really, if your entire investment in making D|S4 Pro exclusively for content creators why, in all that is good and decent would you only make content (As a content creator) only for D|S4 users and NOT poser users?
I mean come on, didn't we all start on Poser once upon a time?
@ Dave: No, what was blasphamous was windows ME! X^D
The problem with using both applications is that you cannot mix content. If you use dynamic clothing you are restricted to Poser, if you set up a nice set of materials for you prop or figure, you are restricted to Poser. If you want to render V5 you are restricted to DS4. The two simply do not mix.
Importing V5 into Poser works up to a certain level. You can pose and morph it, but the render is low quality because of the missing Cattmull Divisioning. Posers smoothing makes it a little better, but not good enough for closeups. I have not heard or read that DAZ can/will solve this particular problem
