Just to clarify:
Allowed
- Links (live or not) to items in response to a question (whether it's "Where is this product", "Does anyone know if X exists", or anything like that).
- Giving your opinion about an item, free or not, located here or elsewhere.
- In general, a LOT more than what isn't allowed (if you have a question whether or not a post you want to make will be considered "advertising", please contact a staff member and we can help you!
Not allowed:
- Using advertising buzzwords like "coming soon" or "now in X store at X price!"
- Linking to adult sites like Renderotica or Raunchy Minds (although, they may be mentioned)
- Disguising informational posts as advertising. This is harder to describe, but we usually work with the member or edit the post and explain why rather than remove them.
While there is a fine line, it's really easy to stay within the forum and site rules.
