Hi Jani,
Well.. It does and it doesn't. I managed to find all the spots for turning things off that you mentioned before you mentioned them. lol... Though having them listed does make it easier to check that I have indeed turned things off one way or another. BUT... the reason I built the wishlist in the first place is that I do want a place I can go to conveniently find the literally HUNDREDS of items that I have added to the wishlist over time so that I can re-access them later when I have a little cash to spend on persoal frivolities like vaporwear (ie Poser and Studio content). I don't hoiwever, need to know every time anything on my list goes on sale all the time. It becomes annoying and fills my email box with unwanted messages on pretty much a daily basis.
So... a couple of things to forward on to the powers that be. Suggestions from a frustrated user (and I CAN'T be the only one... seen other similar comments scattered about the forums)
Please Put ALL email notification options on one page, preferably one titled "Email Notification Options" or something similarly obvious and visible.
Offer an option that can turn ON and OFF the ability to receive email notifications about Wishlist items going on sale. I'm sure many of us have Wishlists that go on for many pages, and the ability to toggle notifications about sales would be a feature I'm sure many of your users would find useful, helpful and welcome.
For the time being, I'm going to have to add Renderosity.com to my blacklisted senders list which will block all emails coming from Renderosity. I have no intention of deleting my Wishlist. It's a useful feature that I use regularly and which allows me to find the things I actually want to purchase from Renderosity quickly and easily when I have the money to spend on them.
I've been a user and customer here for close to a decade now, and I'd hate to have to leave Rendoersity blacklisted, but it seems to be the only option I have right now to insuring that I do not receive unwanted emails from your company.
Poser is an enjoyable hobby, and I like doing business with Renderosity but I also want to be able to control the inflow of email from businesses that are more or less important to me to hear from on a daily basis. It saddens me to have to blacklist Renderosity as I do enjoy hearing from you, but I need to know that you'll be responsive to my needs and for the time being to keep my mailbox clutter free for somewhat more pressing matters that have cropped up recently. Thanks for listening, and here's hoping my suggestions will be taken into account in order to assure a mutually beneficial business relationship.
