Check Dimension3D's zip installer sold here at RMP.  I have an older app that works with older DAZ installers and zips but is no longer sold here in the store because DAZ has made their latest installers so hard to use.

Exactly what type of files are you complaining about, where and how are you installing them?

The easiest way to handle zips is to unzip them into a temp drectory and place the files where they belong.

Even though the newer versions of Poser have a more flexible library system, if a file is listed for use in earlier versions of Poser, it will be in the strict Poser runtime file structure.  These files tend to be hard coded when generated by Poser so if you move them from the file structure, you will have to manually search for the files.  Over the years, I've found it much easier to to install files to external runtimes but otherwise leave the internal file structure alone.  It's rare that I have to do any manual searches.

Some files like Python scripts must be installed to the main Poser app folder.  Doesn't matter if by default you install the rest of the Content to another folder.

If you have a complaint with DAZ installers, you'd best take it up with DAZ.  No one who sells here has any control over their idiotic installers.  Much though we'd like to.  If you have specific issues with vendor products, RMP with direct you to contact the vendor and attempt to work it out.

Demanding that someone find you software to fix things for you is...nevermind...
