What everyone else said!

If you've missed the discussions- genesis rigging does not work in Poser.

Daz HAZ created a work-in-progres export function from Daz Studio to Poser 9, and Pro2012. The caveat is that is a low poly count figure- and some portions are not smooth when bent. In Daz 4 the low poly figure is subdivided into a high polygon figure at render-allowing smooth bending.

Poser 9 and Pro2012 allowing rigging using weight maps-which are theoretically capable of producing more life like bending. Genesis takes advantage of the new Daz weight mapping implemented differently and  bends more naturally than any other figure that I've seen.

A group of people have been working on a free figure modeled by "ODF" (I think) called Antonia. She is being weightmapped. People are making free and market items for her now.

For ME, as of now-her poly count is a little low for realistic muscle morphs. So I am primarily a V4 ffan. Although Antonia is entering my renders.

People are hard at work weightmapping her-so theoretically she should bend nearly as realistically as Genesis

So no, Poser folk are not very V5 interested as things stand.

DISCLAIMER: this post in no way puts down Genesis or Daz. The editorial opinion of this poster is that Genesis is a terrific product-just not terrific in Poser.
